ok so im moving into an apartment soon and since its technically my place i can now get back into the monster fish hobby i want to keep p bass but not just p bass as i think one kind of fish would be boring i want to know what are possible tank mates recomended tank size filtration lighting plants and other decorations used recomended substrate the whole ten yards price really isnt that much of an issue as my monthy rent is only 200 dollars utilities electric cable food etc. all included but if you can give me cheap ideas that would be great lol im not actuallly starting the aquarium for a while as i need to save money obviously also a gross amount of the total cost of the suggestions would be greatly apprieciated thanks

best regards alan

if you guys take this as an attention grab its not i really want some info

maybe if you would give more than 10-20min between your bumps you'd get a response. takes time, not everyone is available at every given moment. i have no experience w/ pbass or i'd offer input on that. you'll get your answers just be patient

if you want to keep pbass and other species got for like an 8x3x2. filtration get a sump and a couple ac110's. tankmates for that size can be aros, med size cats, gars, large cichlids, bichirs, almost anything. go with fake plants and a standard light. hows that?

thanks and you guys are prob right i should be more patient just a stressful day and i wont be on for a while and wanted to get a few answers before the thread died and i had to resurect it once again my bad and thanks and could i go a little smaller than 8ft if thats what you ment maybe 6 and a half or seven?

The smaller you go, the faster you would have to rehome the pbass, but a 6 foot tank would work well for 1 possibly 2 years.
