(Tesla's the e. cat, btw)

I'm wondering about getting some tankmates for the e. cat, as it doesn't move around a whole lot and I almost never see it during the day. From doing some reading it seems that Synodontis catfish are immune to the shocks from the e. cat, but I had a few questions before I went and got some;

1. How large will they get?

2. What do they eat?

3. Will they be active (or at least visible) during the day? I'm not looking for another fish that will just bury itself in a log all day...

4. Are they really immune to the electric shock?

Thanks in advance!

Would S. Petricola be a good option? Relatively small, active, and nice to look at are all things I'm looking for?

EDIT: Or S. Nigriventris?
