Ok as some of you know the oscar has HITH :( what i want to know is how long does this take to heal.
I have started cleaning tank twice a week now and still not much improvement can HITH kill? i hope not because i am starting to get attched to my oscar :( .
I am getting angry WTH IS GOING ON i feed him a good diet and some how he got HITH HOW DOES THIS WORK he has the best pellets i can afford which is HIKARI GOLD and every 2 or 3 days gets fed bloodworms on a monthly basis i give him a treat such as prawns but yer WHAT IS GOING ON I THOUGHT I WAS DOING RIGHT CLEANING HIS TANK TWICE A WEEK ALWAYS CHECKING ON HIM AND HE HAS GOT HITH WHAT IS GOING ON PLEASE HELP MFK CAN I USE MEDS? i don't want to lose LOCO :irked::cry: .

U can stop/really slow down, the growth of hith by keeping the water paramerters right in your tank, keeping up with regular w/c's, taking out uneaten food ect...

P.S ur Aqua Scaping thing in your Signature SUCKS!!!

Ok well i will keep up my water changes and should i rise temp i don't like doing this so i hope you say no lol .

Also should add salt ?
What is wrong with my sig it is good song :ROFL: .

dont over do the water changes coz you will stuff up the cycle in your tank, can do those if you like, im not a huge guru on hitch none of my fish have ever had it, there are alot of threads on hith on this site, just search it. na mate its not good at all :screwy:
 
How much of a water change are you doing when you do it? What are you running for filters? any carbon in the filter?
And yes the Sig blows a**, that's worse then a virus at least I can stop a virus!!!
 
Ok i do twice a week water changes

My filter is good enough for a 80G it is a weipro 2 filter inteernal power filter

Temp is at 27

And there is no carbon what so ever

And the diet is pellets dialy bloodworms every 2nd or 3rd day and once a month treat varies

And my sig rocks lol :headbang2 :ROFL:
