is it ok to keep 4 ocellaris peacock bass in a tank?

my lfs told me it is not good to keep them together for a long time because they will get aggressive and kill each other. is this true?

You can keep more then one in a tank. What petshop is this that told you you can't?

liliha tropical haha.
ohh and is it normal for the little ones to spit out the pellet after a few seconds of chewing?

I had 4pbass 4-6" in my 265g tank, no far no fight yet, but not sure when It get mature though.

i hope they dont fight cause i really want to keep more than one.

Your dat will probably grow slower. Dont worry about what the LFS said. They have not been doing their research. They might flare up and get upset with each other but they are not going to go on a killing spree like some other cichlids. Attitude can change from fish to fish though. If they are orinos they might have a little bit more of a temper.

I have tons of cichla to together in one tank, and I have had another batch grow out together. They just fight for dominance and then they are done, unless they have insufficient tank space.
