That is the istlanum that I used to have. The picture came from the previous owner.

Unforunately, it died on me due to injuries from fighting with every fish in the tank.

I believe these two guys took him out. :(

They're great fish! Lotsa personality! Lost mine from jumping out of a rubbermaid container while I was out, 55 had sprung a leak. Was barely breathing when i got home. 55g was finally done curing (+48hrs) and added her. But it was too late.:(






She was about 5inches and was starting to bulk up.

wow! what a looker! that really sucks man... :( :cry:
i hear ya on losing fish when they jump out. it's like the worst possible way because you have a few minute time frame to find them and hope they make it. when they get sick or fight there's still a higher percentage chance of saving them.
that picture makes me want them even more.
