I thought it was funny it was made in West Germany. Probably from the early eighties. But yeah it was in tact got the instruction book too.

Is the copyright date in the instruction book?. The wall came down in '89. I'm sure eheim didn't change the mold right away. Could be early 90s

Buy a new oring online and maybe go to the hardware store and get some new tubing. (1/2" if I recall) and i bet it still works.

89 it is! I'll get together what's here and see if anything is missing. I wanted to add a canister to my lungfish and if it works great.
