Hello to all, I am posting about the goldfish in my dad's pond. The fish is at least 10 years old, and a couple years ago he got a ton of bumps all over him. He seems fine, just has bumps. Any ideas?

There's a common virus that pond fish may contract in late winter/early spring called carp pox or skin papilloma. These bumps are usually benign and will disappear as the water warms up.
If the bumps occur on the opercula, these are usually tubercles which are ornamental "breeding stars" that males display when they're ready to spawn.
