Old gravel usable?

I am setting up my 5 gal for a betta and I have some gravel that I had in an old tank. The only thing is that old tank had ich. Would the gravel be safe to use if rinsed in hot water? The gravel has been dry for a couple months now.

ich dies after a few days or so without a host.

I always keep the old gravel. Never know when you might need some.

We have a 5-gallon bucket of it sitting in the front yard right now. It's been sitting there awhile... that reminds me... I should move that bucket of gravel that's in the front yard.

I have a 27lb cat litter bucket filled with Flourite and another bag just chilling not even opened. lol
