Old pics of my Burmese

My first post in the herp section of mfk. These pics are of me and my burmese pythons(probably 8-10 yrs ago). I owned a male and female. I'm holding the male the female is on the floor. I still own a female ball python(sarah). I rescued from a clueless friend who threw a live rat in with her. Chewed her up pretty good. Here's the pics

Wow clearly on the pic its a large snake. It must weight about 100 pounds, am i right? But it looked smaller in the second pic. Is it the same snake?

The one I'm holding is the male he was about 10-12 foot(about 80lbs) when I had to get rid of him. The female was the pic on the floor. she was huge 14 foot + and well over 100lbs.

Awesome snakes.. why'd you have to get rid of them?

We had two 10+ footers at my work, an albino and regular. They were both pretty laid back towards the other employee and I, but the owner had to give the regular one antibiotic shots (he came in to us sick) and that snake knew him. He would lift his head and follow him every time he walked by.

Awesome snakes.. why'd you have to get rid of them?

I had to get rid of them because of a bogus land contract deal on a house. the guy I was buying the house from took out a major loan on the property and then filed bankrupt. We were watching tv one night and we heard something at the front door--it was the bank changing the locks---We had 2 days to get out --after living there for 3 years!!!--realy sucked!!! had to move back in with the folks--they didn't like the thought of 200lbs of snakes in their house...I miss them--very much!!!
