I just found this picture of me and my brother when I was about 8 years old (Im on the left). I still remember catching that cat very clearly, I was getting kind of bored of panfish so I tied on this massive top water minnow lure with propellers and 3 treble hooks and was just casting for the hell of it when for some reason this guy took it. He was about 10lbs which as you can see was a considerable percentage of my body weight at the time . Also surprisingly he came out of my grandfathers pond which is only about 20'x20'. theres another pic somewhere that shows me holding it but by this point I was tired of carrying him around.

I have a picture from 4th grade when I came in 3rd place in a 250 word essay contest. The topic was something crazy that happened on the way to go fishing. We got to fish the trout hatchery and man talkin about a cess pool, it was bites on every cast. They also gave a some fishing stuff and we met the governer, which was a women at that time.

No sweat, if anyone else has old pics like this it would probably make for a fun thread. I'm sure theres plenty of us that have been fishing for many years
