So my male is about 8 months old but is a mini and only 7 to 8 inch, if I got a 4 to 5 inch pup female will I run in to problems when the male sexualy matures?

Typical males mate really, soon as they start to come of age they have one thing on their minds.
I had my WC hystrix group off Aquaman a couple years ago give or take, long story short I kept the best looking male and female, when he was fully rolled I also added a new CB pup from Aquaman. From the get go the male have her stick and continued for months off and on, chewing her up here and there, this never stopped even when he was courting his WC female counterpart heavily.
Randy males are relentless and females can get torn up, so an immature small female is going to fair much worse.
My mate on here DoyBoy recently was looking after a male pearl pup, perhaps 6", his maturing male hystrix started to beat the pearl up and bite him and even was witnessed trying to flip the male pearl.
