OMFG MUSHROOM GROWING IN MY TANK!!!

No joke in my 20 gal planted tank there are actually mushrooms or some type of fungus growing from the towel I have over the back of the aquarium to prevent fish from jumping out!! HERES PICS!

Please give me some feedback! have you ever seen this before?!

that is gross but not really insane. it is growing from the towel because it is wet and has plenty of bacteria. i bet if you look outside you will find the same fungus. mushroom pollen can spread very easy. it got on there and thrived off of the bacteria. BUT its still gross! use glass so the fungus doesnt have anything to latch onto.

they are harmless just dont let them fall into the water and get a better top so they wont grow anymore
