What are the conditions of your water?
its clean i just did a water change today 20% like norm the other fish are fine

kingston just passed on :( you can close this thread now :( such a beautiful fish he lived 5 weeks longer then he was going to at the pet store

Dot, what are the water parameters? Please post the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate and use API liquid test kit prior to testing it. Just because the water is clean doesn't really mean the water conditions are absolutely fine. You need to test your water for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate cases when a fish displays unusual symptoms. How big are the koi exactly? The fins displayed damage due to possible deteriorating water quality. From your previous post, your pleco was displaying symptoms of hemorrhagic septicemia. How often do you feed? What food do you use? How often do you change the water and how much water volume?

I am aware that the fish in question has already passed away however we still need to analyze what exactly went wrong and how this can be prevented henceforth I am not closing the thread unless found necessary which is not the case here for now.
