It is so hard to try and expect my cichlids to breed. They say Convicts are the easiest to breed but they have not bred in 2 months in my tank. Maybe the environment is too hostile but they are very defensive fighting off bigger fishes and they even have a little cave too. Anyhow I sold the pair already.
I still have 2 Jacks at 8" each and they wont breed neither. Like my brother said to me, "They will breed when you least expect it."
Im new to MFK and I love it. The classified here rocks, cuz most people are from SoCal which I travel 5-6 times a year there.
