OK, I dont have a pic yet , but I iwll in a few hours. My TSN ate something last night and when I woke up I looked at him and it looks like he ate one of those plastic letters that you get your kids, its in the shape of a v. Like the letter is pointing down and looks like its going to poke right through his stomach. The only thing I can think of is that he ate one of my plecos. I used a flashlight to look in his mouth and right where his throat closes, it is kind of bloody. Has anyone had their cat eat a pleco and survive? The Tsn is about 14 inshes and the pleco was about 5 inches. It doesnt look like whatever he ate went down very smooth and he is gasping quite a bit.:( :(

whoa ate a pleco....i think you and your TSN is out of luck man...plecos have very sharp fins

I think he said its already in the stomach?
Right?

Thats sucks man! If he looks like he's going to die, I probably would do like vtnameseboi said and just take some tongs and try to pull it out as a last ditch effort.

I dont know what you could do. :(

Well, it might not be digested all the way, but might be shifting around withing the stomach.

any reason why you would have a 5" pleco in with a 14" TSN anyway? Just curious. Hope he does OK I wouldn't put anything thats smaller than the TSN in there

i wouldny pull it out because if it went in head first the fins on the pleco are just going to dig in deeper and potentialy causeing a bigger problem...the digustive juices in a tsn work to disolve things quiet well so just wait for the pleco to disolve and them mabye put him in a hospital tank by himself and add so salt so that he will heal faster...
