ok my 6 month olf purple parrot got into a fight about a week ago and got beat up pretty bad so i moved him to a different tank all of his fins healed up and everything like 2 days ago. i was thinking about moving him back. but this moring i wake up he has no color and cant swim off the bottom, when i got home from school he now is upside down and is trying to swim but can only get to the top and float back down plz help me he is my favorite fish i have

When a fish has a swimming problem first thing I think of is a swim bladder problem. I was going to say he got damage to it because of the fight, but then he would have had trouble swimming since that fight.
Could also be because of a bacterial infection.
 
well my friend came over and took a look at him he said that the peachish gills ment not enough oxygen is this true
 
Oxygen might be a contributing stress factor, what exactly do you have running in the tank right now? Is there plenty of flow with some surface agitation? Do you have an airstone you could put in the tank? Is the tank cycled?

Regardless, it still sounds like a swim bladder issue.
 
i did both of those but how do i fix his swim bladder
