hmm hello everyone. over the past 2 weeks my datnoids ich hasnt disapear yet. ive did everything right. i spent more money on medication for the fish than the fish itself. i raised the temperature to 85 degrees, i did the 25% water change every 2 days, and my water is safe but still i dont know why my datnoid still has ichs. hmm i kinda see to give up on the fish. its face and tail is covered with it. well if any of u guy have any suggestions it would help or im just gonna put down the fish humanly.

all it takes is higher temps, salt, and TIME. it's going to get worse before better. add salt at 2 tbsp/5 gal, keep up with water changes and wait. i've had it last a few weeks easy if it's bad...

no problem. seriously, don't buy any more meds, do a couple big (50% now, 50% tomorrow) water changes to get all the meds out, add salt, and wait. keep the temps up, you could go a degree or two higher if you really wanted IME. keep us posted.

never give up hope dude, ur fish will get better in time and i agree with the large water changes to get rid of the meds and use salt to treat (aquarium salt). Im going through a similar thing, my rtc's have fluke and ive just started to treat them after a week of doing water changes as my params were off the charts. Now they are settling down and water is looking good, cats are stil ill but thier meds are 10day course. So never give up. Also a little bit more info about your setup might help people to get a bigger picture of your situation ;)
