Yes, my iPod died :(

That battery just wont work anymore.

So anyway, im just wondering if anyone has replaced their own batteries. I know you can buy them on ebay and do it yourself but I was just wondering how hard it is to do.

Ive seen tutorials but i'm wondering if I should do it myself or take it in and leave it to the profesionals....

thanks.

do it yourself. Shouldn't be too hard. No need in paying somebody else what you can do just as easily yourself

I am so sorry to hear about your ipod. Are you sure its dead? Did you try placing it back in the water and move it slowly? Try adding some salt.

we cant assume that now

what if you wrong and end up with a broken @#$%ed up ipod!!:WHOA:

True.

It does look easy, but im trying to see if someone here has done it to confirm its easy.

I agree with you there Mike, id rather pay the extra and get it done by the pros, rather than have to buy a new iPod...

Its badly wounded.

After 10 hours of treatment (charging) it still didn't pull through :(
