Well they LOOK like true monoculus. although there is more then just coloration attributing to the difference between Ocellaris and Monoculus.

The fish would have to be dissected and carefully looked at to be 100% accurate.

that is about as pure as you can get when it comes to eyeballing them.. Pure for Flordia Peacocks. Of course the wild SA monos are solid.... most of the time....Heh...

Cichla are kinda like modern dog breeds... almost.. LoL.
