Its a calvus.African Cichlid.Growth rate is ssssllllloooooooowwwwwww.but i love em.

how big do they get? i need a good african cichlid to go with my african themed tank.

2-3" but hard to get past that.They stay normally at 3 maybe 3.5".Take about 1-2 years for that sometime more.They are skitish but can hold there ground.Get golden comps.Look like a golden version of these but need less care and grow faster and are just as pretty.I have hep comps.They look like a mini baracuda
