After making a few posts about their less-than-healthy feeder guppy supply (which I didn't think was too abnormal), I've realized how EVIL they are. Pure Hellspawn!
Ok, so I thought the guppies must have just been bad stock from the supplier, but now I think most of the disease develops during their time in the store. I see perfectly healthy, non-dying feeder guppies in their own tanks, and yet the ones they give me are suffering from the plague. (there was not one that wasn't covered with fin rot and other poop) They must keep two separate tanks, one for their own use with actual filtration, and another dumpster for us customers...
But this is what makes them evil! What lengths they go to to hide it. Everyone knows that little kids love to pick out pretty feeder goldfish as pets, so they keep the goldfish out where everyone can see, and conveniently there's no disease in the goldfish tank. However, I once heard a little kid with a parent who wanted to see the guppy tank to pick one out, and they absolutely refused, saying that was employee area only. They did, however, let a group of kids on one of those fun tours into the other "employee only" areas.
I'm seriously thinking of getting a job there to see how horrific that guppy tank is.
