Ok, so maybe I just didn't realise how much these guys eat, but bought 7 goldfish to put in my Aro/TSN/Oscar tank and the 11"TSN ate all of them in about four hours!!

What else could I try him on? Anything??!

gday, mine eats anything except pellets.im currently feeding him whole baby octopus and prawn.hes 19''.i recently bought a pbass that was 9'' put it in then had to take it out in a real hurry as the tsn went after it.you'll be suprised what they can fit in their mouths.they are a true eating machine!!!

yep a slighty less hungry version of an RTC LOL

If you want to give you other fish a chance I suggest keeping the TSN on a dead food diet, Shrimp, muscles, squid etc as it will slowly start leaving the feeders alone since they take energy to chase down... some people have had luck with this method

they are the best looking fish in my opinion. and they know how to eat.

i finally got mine off feeders and hes currently eatin market shrimp thats stuffed with hikari carnivore pellets.

I still think it's funny to watch them stalk shrimp then pounce on it like it's going somewhere. lol. My 12" baby tsn ate 3 whole shrimp last night. Belly is already down today. Might start powerfeeding him so that I can put him in the pond soon.

no goldfish, they are bad for your fish!!!

I feed mine all dead stuff, shrimp and fish fillets, i try not to feed feeders at all..

TSNs take a back seat when it comes to being hungry and your counting red tailed catfish in

Wish mine would eat shrimp she won't even touch it! She will run to the other side of the tank. But man she loves the massivore pellets she eats 25 of them every night. She wont even touch goldfish anymore..
