This is a riddle of sorts, I've come across..
2 FX5's set up exactly the same way on the same 180 , yet one is dirty and in need of cleaning soon and the other looks the opposite...
Any ideas on why one would get a lot dirtier faster than the other??
:confused::confused::popcorn::confused::confused:

Water current or the intake on the "clean" one is partially clogged

possibly the water current moving pass the intake on the clean filter is to strong blowing all the depris away from it?

Nothing to do with the Fx5 in general.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm going to add some dye to the water and see how the current runs

Both filters are broke and soon you will have a tank leak in the 180. I think this is due to human error. It's probably all your fault and you should just give everything you own ( tank, filter, loaches, ect.) to the best tattoo artist you know. Maybe take up jogging... I hear it's the new sensation sweeping the nation. Oh and I'm going to check out that histrix this morning so I will give you a call.
