Hi my name is Jaime, and my husband usually posts on here alot. However these weird little snails have just MATERIALIZED in my 10 gallon that he made for me. He thoroughly check the grass that we put in the tank, and there wasn't a snail on it. So I have no idea how they got there, they are reall tiny. I was wondering if they were bad for my fish.
:help2: :(

a couple of weeks ago i found the same thing in my 10 gal tank. i have no live plants at all, they must of came off a small fish. but now there all over. there very tiny and have little swirl oint shells. so far they havnt done anything to my fish. anyone here know if these things are bad or good. if bad how to get rid of them

yes help us!! ^_^
ya some one pleace before they eat and take over are whole tank:grinyes:

reach in your tank and squish them with your fingers (if there are not hundreds that is), do a nice water change and be sure to suck up all the tiny carcasses, gravel vac real good......worked on my 30g exodon tank..........tell you the truth i think the small snails came from the feeder guppies or rosies that i occationaly feed my mini monsters!!!!!!

I would actually like a population of trumpet snails to clean up, but clown loaches keep eating them all. There is your solution.

well, i dont know........but if you think about it they (the snails) are multiplying and are many more living things in your tank (might change water paramaters ...nitrites/nitrates..etc) i personally try to kill them because do not want an infestation..........but then again if you can control them and you enjoy them...then have at it and good luck........my .02 cents

biggiest i have seen ...presuming we are talking about the same thing is 1/8th of an in. maybe a little more...
