crushing all the bones in its body... yeah ok.
Can anyone tell what is on the other side of those stones (on the left). At first I thought maybe a heatmat, but then thinking about it just looks the bottom of the tank where the boa would rest, and push the stones to one side... they probably get really really hot.
Jason, you could probably find a million and one people on youtube keeping their animals in less then adaquate ways.

Piss-poor setup if you ask me. At least the snake is feeding. I bet that is a pain to clean when the snake drops a load.
And oh yeah...
I've got to respectfully disagree...snakes are highly evolved predators and what snakes do to their prey doesn't even come CLOSE to what humans do to the animals we eat. If you're going to say that feeding live prey to snakes is inhumane, you'd better also be speaking against any kind of animal food product on market today...
While feeding live is certainly not inhumane - some people may find it to be ethically wrong. The point there is that we, as moral beings, SHOULD spare pain and suffering to animals whenever possible. I don't agree with that, but I can respect others for feeling that way. That is all a matter of perspective though and leads to a circular, endless debate.
Let me ask you this: Is raising hundreds of rodents in confined racks, waiting until they reach a desirable size, putting them in a gas chamber, and then ultimately in the freezer a whole lot better? To me the whole 'debate' on live vs. f/t is pretty silly because either option isn't that great...its like asking whether its better to die by drowning or in a car accident..

hooray a live vs frozen debate- haven't seen this one in at least maybe a week. lol.
Im not going to speak for tyler but i read that as the "And they feed live." and the "Cruel and INhumane." as two seperate pieces... the latter talking about the way the snake was being kept. Of course, that's just a guess though.

well if you want to find one the many already up live vs dead foods...ah crap,i was hesitant to post it because of the feeding part but i just had to show you the rocks,lol.Glad this stayed civil,lol.
