I added 2 gibbys about 2 months ago, they had a fight when I added the 2nd one, then his sail got damaged and tail got riped too, but untill yesterday it healed up well... the other one had some battle scars but now they are both torn up! over night they must have had a blue with each other back to the healing process again! if it keeps up, anyone in sydney wants a gibbi?

Sounds like a crazy story, but, WTF is a GIBBY?!?!

What size tank? How many LARGE hiding spots are there? How big are the gibbys?

These are important pieces of info. You may be able to keep them if you tank is large enough, and you have adequate hiding spots. However, sometimes they just will not live together.

Sounds like you need a second tank.

Depending on the aggression level of gibbys and the size of them, a standard divider won't stop them from barreling through.

It kept two 4 inch oscars separated from the small fishies.

Yeah, but a full grown, or even half grown gibby will take out a divider, even egg crate. They get big, and powerful, and if they want to get to the other side they can. A much stronger method for gibbys is needed. They are a very powerful fish.

Size of tank 280 (USgal)
Hiding, 3 driftwood (each around 20 - 30cm diameter)
Gibby Size 25cm - 30cm each (2 of them)

I am going to add some more wood when I find a good looking peice! *looks at steve_89*
