My 18" Aba Aba has always had fake plants in his (125 gal) tank. I put some Anacharis in the tank last week and he ate it. He is well fed and growing quickly. He seems fine and has eaten daily since then. Has anyone ever seen this?

Yes I think so too. Mine will eat the lettuce that I feed my redtail giant gourami. Will also eat the carrots and zucchini that I feed my lungfish. Not to mention an aba aba's teeth are not really shape like a carnivore's teeth.

Cool. I have never seen pics of an aba's teeth. You make a good point. I guess I'll have to start tossing in some more vegetable matter for him to eat.

Try formula two. Any predator will love it! We feed it to the moray eels, epaulette sharks and large cats at work.
