Well after some time out of the hobby taking care of a few things it's time for me to come back. This time i will be going smaller also. I'll be setting up a 75G RR as FOWLR. I plain on starting setting it up in the beginning of Feb. I want to make sure i have all the equipment and anything else i need before hand. So far i have the sump (30G), skimmer, and mag 7 return pump. Any other equipment you would suggest for a FOWLR? It's been a looooooong time since i had one of these. Also looking for fish suggestions. Looking to do 4-5 fish max. So far im considering but not in stone:

Yellow Anthias, Holanthias fuscipinnis 3"
Bandit angel,
Apolemichthys arcuatus 3"
Candy Basslet, Liopropoma carmabi
Wrought iron butterflyfish, Chaetodon daedalma 3"

I will have no issues in obtaining these fish since i have already found people that have them there just waiting for me to say ship me one.
Also how much live sand do you recommend for a 75G. I kinda went overboard with my old reef tank and my sand bed was 8-10" deep lol

YES! YES! YES!
Good to see you back in action (can expect you in the guess the fish thread? LOL)

The fish all sound good, if you wanted more than 5 or so fish I'd recomend a harem of the anthias or maybe two of the basslets.. But so far sounds good
Maybe some substitutions? Just my opinion...
Aya butterfly or Brazilian long nose
Eight banded bfly
Watannebe angel
Maybe a gem tang LOL

Equipment wise sounds good... I usually run less than that on my reef tanks so you should be good in the hood...

As for the sand I have 90 pounds of oolite sand in my 75. So maybe a little less if you went with regular aragonite. The depth of mine varies from like one inch to five

if there is anymore room in there i would put a toby puffer, but thats just me

haha gem tangs haha if you have an extra 3000$ laying round

Welcome back. Sounds like it's going to be a sweet setup!

Heheheeee maybe you will. I wouldn't be right to not be a part of something i started right lol.

I would love to have a harem of those anthias but there more expensive then the gem tang u suggested out of joke lol. If i could afford it i would have the tank of 6 of them and nothing else. Thanks for the info on the sand i wasn't 100% sure. I'm consivering a UV what's your take on them?

never worked with em...

and inline would be better than an in-sump/in-tank tank though..

for a 75 you'd only need like a 5 watt one if that...
