this would be the tank for him. a 20 gallon high. not much space, i know, as i wa shoping for the 33 or a 30 long, but college bills come first. anyway, what could i keep in there? no shellies; want a cool fish, and just 1...

rainbow will be more appropriate.
nigrofasciatum grown is fixed in 6 inches....the rainbow in just 3 " and less aggressive.

rainbow grow bigger then 3 inches i have a pair and ones 4 and ones 5 but they do get smaller then convicts

indeed they are smaller.
I have never seen a 5"multispinosa,but I praise you in this case.

Multispinosa are really mild in behaviour.Gross part of their diet is based upon algae.
if u don't have not enough of that , vegetarian flakes *** will help you.
