One Dollar Coins

I found 130 one dollar coins in my apartment and I'm thinking of using them. But is it possible to exchange them for one dollar bills? Where can I do that?

Speaking of NYC, when you go on a Subway and you pay the $2 ride with a 20 and get 18 of those coins back.. damn I hate it!
