One eyed palmas

Been looking at this guy for about 7 months but the price was to high. Went in there today and asked how low would they go they said 50 and he is yours. Already slamming pellets after only being in the tank an hour.

Around here they all are priced high but I'm happy with a lap. Not sure about his eye it was like that when it came in. Wanted him then but he had no color don't know why I went there today to get him but glad we did

Ok how can you tell what kind it is

Well palmas palmas have a longer upper jaw, where as laps (like yours) have longer lower jaws. Also palmas palmas tend to have black stripes, with more of a brownish/tan color base. Also just for a heads up, stores tend to label senegals as "Palmas" but don't be fooled. Some will even be small enough to see their juvenile patters (that eventually fade away).
