one finned catfish

Okay hey everyone havent been on in a while but about an hour ago i got a new fish idk what its kalled but its a catfish like creature and my oscar just bit one of its fins off, its swimming fine but will it be okay. My oscar hasnt bothered it sence.

What are you doing? Research a fish before you buy it. Seriously, just calm down and learn before diving in. Things turn out way better.
