one huge tank? or several smaller ones?

hey guys,random poll,would you choose a HUGE tank..eg 5000 gal,over several smaller tanks? eg 10 500s,and post why..

I like the set-up I have 2 largish tanks, I am happy with them, I think I would rather go with 2 larger then 1 XLG tank. That allows for a little more variety.

thats what i was thinking...but would it be more expensive to filter a XXL than several Large tanks?or would the cost be irrelevant?

I have about 40 tanks that add up to about 1800 gallons.I would happily trade them all for 1 1800g tank or 2 900g tanks
