I have been really busy getting ready for my wedding, and haven't had time to start back on my fish room. Well today I had some time and was going to drill my tank, I read as much as I could got the right drill bit had water runnign over the drill bith and the acrylic. Got the first hole drilled and 70% of the 2nd when I smelled something hot. I stopped drilling and checked the tank it was a little warm but pretty cool since it has water standing in it where I was drilling, same thing with the bit. Then I saw it smoke pouring out the drill itself.

If its not one thing its another, but I will get this room completed, the drill still works but who knows for how long. I am going to let it cool off and hope I can finish this last hole.

I got the room painted and have all the hardware I need, I can't wait to see my new water pump in action. A Cal Torpedo 4000 I should be able to get about 3200GPH with all the fittings and head height.

Hope everyone has been well, I have been running around like a mad man, working and going to school. I can tell you one thing getting married is a lot of work this is my second time, but moving my wife to be to Kansas City form Cali is alot of work in itself.

Let it cool and finished the second hole and a third one. The two 2" bulkheads I drilled were way harder the 1" bulk head. It was a success not warping or cracking plus the drill made it.
