I set up my 80 gallon (4x1.5x2) tank that's been empty for a few years. I had to reseal it and make a top (I knew I'd picked up that old piece of 1/4" glass for something). I picked up an AquaClear 110 and a Stealth 250W heater. I'm going to cycle it for a few days before I make the switch.

I'm going to use it to grow out my TSN for a while, the Pangasius can't compete with him for food. :(

EMPTY 110 Long, 50 Long, 30 FG, 30 tall, 25 FG, 15 Hex all thows tanks empty

I know, but at least I'm up to 50% running! :) I really need to get the 110 going again. I replaced it with the 135 about ten years ago and it has been gathering dust ever since...

Is that blue tank with the tsn in it a diy? Did you start a thread about it? Looks good...

Sort of - It's a commercial fish tub from a Koi farm that closed down about 20 years ago. It measures 4x4x2 on the outside, but only holds about 185 gallons of actual water (it tapers in and is deeper in front). I cut the windows and siliconed in the glass 17 years ago and it still holds water. :) I've got a buddy with two of them, one with windows and one without. They sit empty in his barn, I might try to get them from him...

nice tank! for your info though the tank is standard 90 gallon.

awesome ID shark too!

I thought so, but if you measure inside the glass it only holds about 81 gallons. I got it second-hand, like most of my tanks.

Thanks, the ID shark was a rescue from a friend of a friend that had raised it to that size in a 75. She took good care of him, but couldn't get a bigger tank.

thats so cool. today i decided to do a breeding project.
so i started calculating how much it would cost. then i realized i had more than i needed!!!! everthing i wanted was in the garage:)

Cool. I don't care how old it is. Setting a tank up is always a blast.
