I have a non submersible jager 250w. if you know the model there is a line about an inch down from the top of the heater that says you must keep this part above the water line. My question is, what happens when I go away for a week for work and my water level drops, I noticed that it can go down by an inch or more, will this effect the heater at all? The heater works fine, temp stays constant..but if water goes above the line it will stay on forever but not really heat it. Weird I know, the light was recently on for a cpl days and the tank was not getting warmer..it was at least 75 in that room too. And Im also curious why they would produce a heater like this that cant be fully put into a tank
