just picked up this one of a kind oddball datnoid !! never seen one around or knows anyone that have seen one before I'd say a rare prize fish. Lemme know what you guys think !

Definitely unusual, how does he swim? Is he impaired by the deformity? Other then that he's cute little guy. As far as him being a prize fish it depends on who you speak to. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. The most important thing is that he's healthy and your happy with him.
he swims like any other normal datnoid and also he is healthy and eats a ton actually but he is a prize fish to me and I haven't seen any others like him which makes him a prize fish in my eyes
Looks like something took a chunk out of him and it healed to a deformed shape.Lets see some in tank photos.
To each their own I guess. YOur ngt is way more rare in just its size alone. More pics of it please.
