For some reason, i have a discus who will not leave another discus alone. I have all of my tanks occupied at the moment and i cannot take the discus out. It seems like the the one being bullied is very intimidated by the other one and it also seems like he is not doing very good in terms of staying calm. He is always on the other side of the tank panting and breathing heavily. What should i do for the time being?

its a 90g and there are 4 discus. Could it be that there arent enough discus in the tank? I was planning to get a few more to hopefully solve this problem.

just get some egg crate from home depot and cut it to the width of the tank and divide the weaker fish from the bully, then try moving it every so often and see if you have any changes, i would add some more discus to your tank 4 is a little skimp for a 90. if adding more discus doesnt help use the divider. good luck

I agree. You need 8-10 discus in a 90 gal. to spread out the aggression. Dominance over other discus is normal, but too few in a tank causes one fish to focus in on one or two fish.
