Both farm raised endlis look great! Your wifes' make up (foundation) did not turn this endli lightr color, lol. Endlis sometimes are light color base even in black sand. Just the way some are.

it may darken back up they sometimes change their darkness from stress. What are your water parameters? Any changes to the tank? Any harassment?

Tested water parameters yesterday

Ammonia 0
nitrite 0
Nitrate 20

Testing done while vaccumming water for water change

No changes to the tank

Only thing I can think of is the tank was no fed between 11-15 jan and feeding resume on 16 and 17 jan.

Feeding are usually alternate days
