I maintain a number of CA cichlid species of the genus Paraneetroplus. You've seen several of them on this forum ('maculicauda', 'breidohri', 'melanurum', the list goes on). One of them has, above all others eluded me in terms of raising a pair to maturity and having them breed successfully. That is the 'regani', a fish of delicate coloration and patterning unlike most ('argentea' is another) others in this genus which usually have bold splashes of color. About 5 years ago, I obtained some young 'regani' from aFISHionados in Winnipeg and spent 3 years raising them up, only to lose them (aquarist error
) Well, after another try, finally I have a pair. Here's a video highlighting the new couple.
