One of my favorite places

My family and I made a visit to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens this morning. It's one of my favorite places in the city and it's a place that I feel is very underrated. It's gardens stretch indoors and out, it has a Costa Rican garden, a desert garden, and even a rose and butterfly garden. My limited photography skills(if you can call them that) don't do it justice but here's a few pics enjoy.

Yea me too, I just cant remember what it is. Almost looks like a desert rose.

Yep I zoomed in on the name tag and looked the plant up and it seems that it is listed under CITES protection.I knew that plants as well as animals were covered but this is the first time I've actually heard of a plant listed.

I didn't realize it's listed under CITES. They're available at Home Depot in succulent section

Yeah,the ones in the stores are probably grown from seeds or cuttings.The HD near me sucks when it comes to their plant selection..I have never seen one there and I have been looking for a desert rose but they have not had any for ages.
