Basically a mean ass wolf cichlid that grows 30cm will kill tankmates in all but the largest tank, very aggressive but very slow growing.

If you class 30cm as small lol if you want aggressive cichlids which stay small here are some options u might like
Salvini cichlids 15cm (colourful and aggressive)
Convict cichlids 15cm
Neetroplus cichlids 12cm
Panama cichlid 15cm (rare)
Sajica cichlid 10cm
Rainbow cichlid 12cm
Ellioti cichlid 12cm
Firemouth cichlid 15cm
Jewel cichlid 10cm
I was under the impression that they stay smaller than most regular cichlids

If your after predator fish which stay small here are some options
Rainbow snakehead 20cm
Rainbow Wolf fish 18cm
Dwarf pangasius shark catfish 20cm
Pike characin 15-30cm
Pike killifish 7cm (males) 18cm (females)
Dwarf pike cichlid 8cm
African butterfly fish 10cm
Baby whale momyrid 10cm
Dwarf pufferfish 3cm
Red eye pufferfish 5cm
Palambang pufferfish 20cm
Hairy pufferfish 15cm
Upside down catfish 10cm
Featherfin catfish 20cm
