They seem to be getting ready maybe to spawn. ( I hope ) Female I aquired frome the roadrunner and male from another friend.

Nice! These are the kind of things that are driving fishkeepers nutz on getting a pair like yours. We all know its true. The festae craze of people buying 6-10 juvies and once a pair forms, the others are sold off. I'm one of them, lol.... but only have the large female and small male in my case.
