Hi all, I have a 5ft by 20in by 30in tank set up, that is currently stocked with a 5in green terror (female) a jack dempsey, two geophagus brasiliens, two severums and a nicaraguan cichlid...plus an ornate bichir and a small pleco (that will prob be going)...am thinking of adding an oscar as the final addition, but am open to other ideas! any suggestions would be welcomed

Hi, yep managed to find it lol....and no I am more after a specimen tank....there will be enough aggression in there as it is....let alone if I pair things up lol.

lol ok if your not stuck to cichlids you could do another poly like a endli or a senagalus

I am really after another cichlid....am very tempted to go for an Oscar, I think that would finish it nicely....but I am not as up on american cichlids as I am africans, so happy to look at alternatives.

i have three oscars they act like dogs so if you want one you should get one they just need fed alot and clean water

Yeah I had a couple around 8 years ago, and they are lovely....mine were real peace keepers too...they would often split up squabbling between other fish in the tank, they actually had a real calming effect on the whole tank in general.

ya that the only problem i had is mine lip lock alot these are my American cichlids i have frontosas in another tank

very nice! thanks for sharing the pics...I will try and get some of mine when I get chance, although apart from the gold severum and the GT they are all still pretty small, so could be difficult lol.
