Am looking at getting Angels for a smaller tank (20g) I've managed to free up, I only what to use it as a grow out, till their nice and big when they' d be moved to a larger tank.

Can two angels that arent paired live together? or should I just go for one? I don't want a breeding pair.

There is no way of sexing Angels until they are ready to spawn and drop down their breeding tubes. Which means if you get two, you may end up with a pair or... 2 that don't get along. I've had 2 of the same sex that lived in peace together for 6 years. I've had 2 where the one nearly killed the other and would have if I didn't stick a divider in the tank. IF you decide on buying TWO, you must be prepared for a possible battle outbreak. Which means having an extra tank cycled and ready to go in case you need to separate them. OR, a divider to go in the middle.

Baby angels always get along. But once they mature, unless they are a pair, they USUALLY become extremely territorial.

I wouldn't worry if you did end up with a pair. It's less stressful then 2 of the same sex that don't get along. :)

GET 6 SO U CAN SEE THEM PAIR N THEN TAKE BAK THE OTHER1s
