One trout, twenty shrews...

haha ya i love it when fish eat mammals/rodents. It DOES happen in nature just not often
 
I'm really impressed that how could a trout managed to find 20 solitary shrews in short time.

dayum son...i still think the arowana is a bad ass, leaping out and grabbing stuff from tree branches

It's very odd that how a trout managed to eat 20 shrews in short time suggests that most shrews were caught in same place. It don't match to the shrew' natural behavior since they are really solitary creatures that do not tolerate of another shrew in their own territory as the shrews are very cannibalistic towards to each other. The shrews also have larger territories due to their high metabolism and themselves being carnivores which need a large supply of invertebrates and other small creatures. I don't know why the shrews suddenly just group up to 20 shrews and jump into a river at same time.
