Ok, so I herd on a few sites today that onion plants can be in a aquarium? Is that true?Is it a specific type or can I go grab an onion plant right out of my garden, wash it and put it in.I don't want to know about bacteria on my garden onion plant, I want to know if it can live underwater!:screwy::screwy::screwy:

Ive had a couple and im pretty sure they are not normal onion plants.

I asked the same question before. The community adviced me that it wont work and the plant will melt

There ARE aquatic crinums. If you bought it at a store, in water, then it is an aquatic crinum. No problem.

Crinums are NOT onions, and are not even related.

The bulb or root of the plant looks very onion like.

Have you ever seen those banana plants for the aquarium? Great plants and named that way because it looks like a bunch of bananas at its base.
