Has anyone ever ordered turtles online and had them shipped? if so where did you order them from?
I've been looking at www.turtlesale.com and www.turtlesales.com
anyone ever gotten any from those places?
 
I would much rather go to a reptile show and see it myself before I buy it.
 
I agree. I think its important you can pick out a healthy one, and also one you like to look at. Basically to make sure you know what your getting.
 
people buy fish online all the time, have done it myself.. I'm not dissigreering, but I already know what I want, just a matter of finding it, and the local shops don't seem to have much other than RES.... and within a few hours drive I can hit maybe 1 show every few months... I'm a member of MFK.. I don't wanna wait a few months, I want things now! ... :(
 
I bought an adult breeding pair of mata mata turtles from a farm closing down. They were $975 delivered. I jumped on the deal since this was better than prices I've seen at shows. I paid for them on Monday (they took paypal) and the pair was at my door Wednesday morning.

ive been told that turtlesale.com is a horrible place to order your turtles from as they dont care about the condition or health of the turtle and will ship you one that is half dead (probbly due to there poor keeping of them) and all they care about is the money.
i havnt ordered turtles online but that was the site i was considering until hearing what other people have to say about it. try craigslist thats how i got my res the size of a 50cent peice for 25$ delivered a block from my house.

you can go to the turtletimes.com forums and there is a ton of people with experince ordering turtles online if you cant find any on craigslist
 
oddball....is there anything you dont have!?!?!?

everytime i come on here you got something new...lol.

so will you be selling the hatchlings...or possibly trading?
