nice deal. frontosa doesnt look like most frontosas. also, it doesnt have a lump on its forehead so its probably subordinate.keep up the good work!

there is a frontosa look alike. I think that might be it. Doesn't look much like a front (face wise)

I tried looking up the look alike (found the name [Neolamprologus tretocephalus] in an old MFK post). From a completely novice perspective the N.tret. seems to usually be yellow around the eye socket, whereas the fronts are darker there. So I would personally assume that since the OP's fish have dark sockets that they are the real deal.
Then again, as I said...novice here .
