Ooops R.I.P Stupid fish

:irked:ok here is the deal im setting up a brakish tank 4 a moray eel that i currently have in fresh water with some decent sized O's a 5 inch tiger a 3-4 inch red and a 1 1/2- 2 inch texas and a 2inch fire mouth and a 2 inch ornate bichir and a butterfly pleco 2-3 inch in a 45g so i was a stupid petsmart just looking and i see a dragon goby and the tank says brakish so im like well i mite as well put it in my brakish tank as in i only have one fish for it and it just finished it cycle so i buy it and the guy tellls me the tank it is in is brakish so i take it home and put it in and it immediatly starts to die so i rushed and put it in my small 10g with a baby yellow belly and white tiger o and as expected the turtle thought it wasfood 4 the first 30 min but after it realized it could not eat it it left it alone........... then my brother sees this and say's Bro it should be fine in the big tank........so he puts it in seeing as in i have hella hiding spots i figure it will be fine..........NOPE.. As i play a game of madden i chech the tank and i see the tail of the stupid dragon goby hanging out of the mouth of my 3-4 inch red O and the goby was like 3inch long bigger than my bichir all i have to say is stupid Goby:irked:
 
oww and i called up 2 pets mart and they told me that they keep all brakish fish in freshwater and that i can return the fish if it died because i put it in brakish warter to fast......... lol
 
yea maybe but i had no other place to put it but in the end my brother killed it if i would of left the fish in the brakish tank it would have died due 2 the fact that it was never in brakish water so the only place i had left was with the oscars or turtle
 
That Dragon Goby never stood a chance in a tank like that! Their mouths make them look more tougher and meaner than they actually are. Sorry you lost your fish.
 
I don't know which is worse, blaming a "stupid fish" for your fishkeeping decisions, or your inability to express a coherent thought in written english.
 
if you would have actually acclimated him to the brackish like you were supposed to then he would have been fine in the brackish they are definitely a brackish fish and the only reason he was dieing was because you probably just dropped him in the tank without acclimating him first, thats like going from 100 degree weather in a bikini to 30 degree snow without changing first its not going to be go over well, not stupid fish, stupid decisions that werent just from our brother but you too for doing treating him like you were supposed to and not researching first
